What is We Choose Virtues?

We Choose Virtues is a daily character building tool that helps us focuses on the positive behaviors, rather than the negative; designed for ages 3-18.

My family received the 12 set Virtue Clue Cards, Teacher’s Handbook, Childs Memory Verse and Bible Heroes list, Character Assessment, and The Kids of VirtueVille Coloring Book.

We Choose Virtues Clue Cards were created for early elementary school aged children.
There are 12 Virtue Clue cards in a set.

• Helpful
• Diligent
• Self-Controlled
• Content
• Obedient
• Gentle
• Perseverant
• Honest
• Kind
• Patient
• Forgiving

Each Clue Card features a VirtueVille Kid, a virtue, a catchphrase, and a few antonyms for that specific word.

Front side:
 I am KIND
I treat other the way I like to be treated.
I am NOT … selfish, mean, or rude and I don’t hurt others on purpose!  

Back side:
Choose to plan some kind things to do for others that they do not expect. Do what THEY think is kind! – Kettle Gretel knows you can do it!

Front side:
I am HONEST
I am a truth teller
I am NOT … a liar, a thief, or a cheater and I don’t change the truth to get my way!

Back side:
Choose to go the whole day telling the whole truth…not adding anything or leaving anything out!
Hockey Stick Nick knows you can do it!

You introduce the virtues, demonstrate them, memorize the catchphrases, learn the antonyms, and then combine them with teachable moments.

 

The teacher’s handbook is a full color, 48 page instruction manual on how to use this character building system in the classroom.

The Kids of VirtueVille Coloring Book features all 12 Virtueville Kids.

The Student Character Assessment is completed by each family member to assess where their character is now.
